Adapted Vehicle Hire News Updates: iPad competition winner announced
Adapted Vehicle Hire can now reveal the winner of its iPad competition, which was run to coincide with the launch of I-drive, a new online information hub for the disabled community.
Occupational therapist, Anne Myhill (see pictured) was one of hundreds of people who registered to receive I-drive updates (coming soon), and was named winner of a prize draw to win the coveted iPad tablet.
I-drive features information on travel, independence and mobility, including options for specialist adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles. It also includes regular disability news, as well as insights from guest bloggers such as Paralympian Matt Whorwood and disabled racing driver Aaron Morgan.
Ms Myhill registered with I-drive while attending the Naidex exhibition in Birmingham in May. She visited the event to keep herself up-to-date with aids and adaptations available on the market, in order to best inform her patients and NHS colleagues about products suited to their needs.
Commenting on her prize win, she said: “Thank you Adapted Vehicle Hire! I am surprised and very excited to have won an iPad – it is such a beautiful, versatile and portable machine. I have already downloaded a variety of apps and e-books, and I have been able to catch up with some of the Olympic events that I had missed!”
If you wish to register for our forthcoming monthly e-newsletter, please subscribe via the I-drive homepage. Plus, watch this space for further competitions!
